Half a year after having to close the long running drugstore, the proprietor of Bruce Smith Drugs is back behind a pharmacy counter at the Village Shops.

Debbie Richmond, whose family had owned Bruce Smith Drugs for decades when it closed late last year, and other former Bruce Smith employees are now operating the new pharmacy at the Hen House Village Market, just steps away from the longtime Bruce Smith Drugs location.
