Annika Wooton to Perform at KPhA Awards Gala

Kansas Pharmacists Association is pleased to welcome Annika Wooton to Topeka for the 2022 KPhA Awards Gala! Wooton, a former Miss Kansas and current Miss Sedgwick County, is a performance artist specializing in speed painting. She will complete two paintings, the first during the Kansas Pharmacy Foundation Silent Auction and Cocktail Hour and a second before the awards presentation. The paintings will be auctioned off live and proceeds will benefit KPF.

One lucky silent auction winner (and six of their friends) will have dinner with Annika and get a front-row seating at her second performance! Registration for the KPhA Annual Meeting & Trade Show is OPEN through Aug. 31.

About Annika Wooton

She may be most well known for her historic two-year reign throughout the pandemic as Miss Kansas 2019 and 2020. As Miss Kansas, Annika made over 400 appearances during her years of service, raised thousands of dollars for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals and scholarships for young women, and traveled the state and country creating live speed paintings for audiences of all kinds. Annika represented Kansas at the 2020 Miss America Competition earning a Top 15 placement at the competition in addition to a non-finalist talent award for her 90-second speed painting performance of Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg. She was also recognized as the winner of the Jean Bartel Social Impact Initiative Scholarship which acknowledges her exceptional work in arts advocacy. A graduate of the University of Kansas, Wooton resides in Wichita.
