The University of Kansas, School of Pharmacy

Department of Pharmacy Practice, is seeking applicants for a full-time faculty clinical track (non-tenured) position housed on the Lawrence, Kansas campus. The position is a 12-month full-time, clinical track position at the assistant or associate professor level. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Pharmacy Law with some involvement and additional teaching in other coursework depending on their background and department needs.

Preferred candidates will have a PharmD, healthcare, and/or Law degree(s) with excellent knowledge of, and/or teaching experience with, Pharmacy Law or Healthcare Law. Faculty members are expected to contribute to the mission and goals of the Department and School in each of the areas of teaching, scholarship and service.  Academic rank and salary will be commensurate with the qualifications and expertise of the individual.

Extra consideration will be given to candidates with experience and training in aseptic technique and health-system Pharmacy practice.  The position is a 9-month (academic year) full-time, unclassified position as a Skills Lab Teacher. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching in the didactic curriculum.
